2. Does it have a battery and charger? (if so does the battery hold a charge?)

How to Find Your Laptop’s Brand and Model

We know that it can be sometimes difficult to find your laptop’s model number, or even its brand. If you’re not sure what your laptop’s model number is, don’t worry it’s really quite simple.
For starters, your owner’s manual should have the brand and model number on the front cover. If you don’t have your owner’s manual then almost every laptop has a manufacturer’s label on the bottom of the computer. This label should have the brand and model number on it.
Here is an example of an HP model number sticker located on the bottom of the laptop:
